Charlie Weis gets monster contract
New offensive coordinator Charlie Weis agreeing to a deal that will pay him over $2.5 million over three years.
He received a $100,000 signing bonus and $10,000 each year from the school’s Nike equipment contract as well.
In addition, according to the Weis contract, he will get $795,000 in 2011, $865,000 in 2012 and $865,000 in 2013.
It is, by far, the largest contract ever given to a Florida assistant football coach in the history of the program.
